The Project
Water's View is a 222-unit garden-style apartment community at 100 Waters View Circle on Van Schaick Island in Cohoes, New York, at the confluence of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers. The site adjoins Peebles Island State Park, with direct access to the park's trails, fishing and kayaking and the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail, and is a short walk from Van Schaick Country Club and minutes from Troy, Albany and the Northway.
The community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with private balconies, stainless appliances, granite counters, full-size in-unit washers and dryers, attached garages and Energy Star rated heating and cooling, with river views in select homes and cable and high-speed internet included in rent. Residents share a riverfront grill and picnic area, a clubhouse with full kitchen, fireplace and event space, a conference room, a 24-hour fitness center, on-site management and 24-hour maintenance. Select homes are offered furnished for short-term and extended stays through Prime Corporate Apartments.
Prime Companies developed Water's View ground-up and delivered it in 2012, with civil engineering by EP Land Development, as the largest of its Van Schaick Island communities. Prime later sold the property and was retained by the new owner as property manager, and Prime Management has operated the community continuously since opening.
