Birchwood is a 30-lot single-family subdivision in the Town of North Greenbush, New York, between Troy and East Greenbush on the east side of the Hudson. The community is built along Birchwood Hills Drive, a single street with homes on half-acre lots on both sides, backing to woods and open land.
Prime Companies developed the subdivision, carrying the site through approvals, road and utility construction, and lot sales. Homes on the street were built in the mid-2010s, among the newer single-family construction in North Greenbush.
North Greenbush is a commuter location roughly ten minutes from downtown Troy and fifteen from downtown Albany via Route 4 and I-90.
